Between Two Worlds shows how different emotional worlds can coexist within us. They overlap, contradict each other, and eventually can no longer be contained. They erupt and find their own way into the light. Vibrant orange, deep black, green, and blue collide, dissolve again, and flow in long streaks across the canvas. This creates a tension between control and letting go, between inner turmoil and the desire to find order again. The work speaks of inner conflict—but also of the fact that all these different facets are allowed to be part of us simultaneously.
