Terra is a work about connection and about how deeply we are part of the world around us. Earthy shades of beige and sand create a calm foundation, while greens, turquoise, blues and deep reds break through and bring movement to the painting.

Much of the work developed intuitively. Colours layered over one another, were revealed again and gradually found their place. This process reminds me of nature itself: nothing is perfectly ordered, yet somehow everything belongs together.

For me, Terra carries something elemental – strength and calm at the same time. It does not need to be loud to have presence, and it continues to reveal small new details the longer you look.
