Pieces of Earth is, for me, a tribute to the beauty of our earth and to the colours it holds within. The blue recalls the sea and wide waters, while the burgundy tones suggest soil, depth, and warmth. The green feels like leaves, trees, or forest alive, organic, and full of calm.

Looking at the painting feels like seeing fragments of nature: traces, layers, and small pieces that come together to form something larger. That is where the meaning of this work lies for me. It does not show the earth in a literal way, but in feeling — in its strength, its vitality, and its quiet beauty.

Like many of my works, this painting was created intuitively. Layer by layer, its own landscape emerged — not planned, but shaped in the moment. In this way, Pieces of Earth became a work about connection: to nature, to memory, and to the things that ground us most deeply.
