Inner Garden was born from the feeling that we all carry a world of our own within us; an inner garden made of memories, emotions, thoughts and experiences.

While painting, I did not want to consciously plan or control this place. I allowed colors, shapes and movements to emerge intuitively and followed whatever began to unfold on the canvas. Soft shades of pink and violet meet vibrant greens, turquoise and warm accents. Some forms feel almost floral, while others remain free and abstract.

To me, Inner Garden therefore carries something very playful and light. At the same time, beneath this lightness lies a deeper layer. So much grows quietly within us, changes its shape, disappears and reappears somewhere else.

Perhaps that is exactly what our inner garden is: not a perfect place, but a living one. A place that allows room for change, contradictions, beauty and new beginnings.
